A well-designed home theater includes features that both enhance the acoustics in the room and keep other noises out. The key is insulation—ideally in all four walls, the ceiling and floor. Owens Corning QuietZone® insulation batts are specially designed to deaden sound and block noise. Fitted between wall studs and ceiling and floor joists, they provide an acoustical barrier that reduces both reverberation inside the room and noise penetration from outside.
